A mountain is a massive landform which stands above the encompassing land in a confined zone, normally in the form of a summit. A mountain is usually abrupter than a hill.

Mountains are normally made through tectonic forces as well as volcanism. Those forces can regionally grow the surface of the earth. Mountains decay gradually through the action of rivers, weather situations, and glaciers.

Olympics mountain is found in the state of Washington in the United States of America. The range of the mountain sits right next to the Hoh Rainforest. It is the largest temperate rainforest on the continent.

2. Graian Alps

The Juliann Alps were named after Julius Caesar. The alps offer an excellent alpine flair, that would have you swear you were in Upper Bavaria on a good day’s hiking.
